Windaus Energy was another company we contacted. They produce a very unique wind turbine with a low visual impact on the landscape.
They produce unique stackable "Vertical Wind Towers" [See photo left] that only need 12 mph to achieve full velocity producing up to [8' Wind Tower] 169.2 KWh per month or up to 6,452.7 KWh per month. That's at least 2,030.4 KWh per year. The scientific name for this type of turbine design is “Twist Savonius” .
